There’s something truly magical about the connection between a mother and her child. Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing that magic during a sweet and cozy Mom and Me photo session in my Lexington, KY studio space. Diona and her beautiful 18-month-old daughter, Nyla, stepped in front of my lens for a session that was simple, heartfelt, and full of love.
The studio is designed with intention: warm beige tones, creamy neutrals, and soft boho textures fill the space, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere where the focus remains on the people and the love they share. It’s a cozy little haven tucked away in the heart of Lexington, Kentucky, perfect for capturing intimate family moments like these.
Diona and Nyla wore pieces from my curated client closet, and their looks complemented the soft neutral tones of the studio beautifully. It’s always my goal to help clients feel confident, radiant, and comfortable without the stress of styling—especially for busy moms. Diona looked effortlessly elegant, while Nyla was the perfect mix of sweet and spunky.

During every Mom and Me session, I make sure to grab a few solo shots of Mom as well. Because moms deserve to see themselves feeling beautiful and confident. We often forget to prioritize ourselves, but these moments serve as a visual reminder of our strength and grace.
This session was filled with snuggles, giggles, and tender eye contact. Little Nyla clung to her mama, played with her curls, and beamed the kind of smile only a mother can bring out.
