There’s something truly special about watching a family grow—and I’ve had the absolute honor of capturing this beautiful family through every chapter of their journey. From their engagement session to their first maternity and newborn photos, and now this glowing golden hour maternity session in the fields of Kentucky, it’s been such a joy to be their trusted Lexington KY photographer.

This session was full of warmth both from the golden sunlight and the deep love between mom, dad, and their sweet 9-month-old son. With baby number two on the way (another little boy!), this session felt like a peaceful pause to soak in the moments before their world grows again.

The wide-open Kentucky fields gave us the perfect backdrop for this story. As the sun dipped low, we captured dreamy, light-filled portraits that highlighted the excitement, connection, and calm that comes before welcoming a new baby.

Their little guy was full of smiles and curiosity, and seeing him walk hand-in-hand with mom and dad was a beautiful reminder of how fast time moves. These quiet, in-between moments are the ones we’ll treasure most later—and I’m so thankful I get to freeze them in time.
