There is something so timeless and pure about photographing newborns, and baby Evelyn’s session was the perfect example of that. At just 11 days old, this sweet little girl came to visit me in my Lexington, KY photography studio, and she completely stole my heart. Her parents requested a beautiful lavender color palette, and the soft tones suited her perfectly. We even added a rich deep grape purple set at the end of her session to bring a touch of depth and elegance to her gallery — and it turned out stunning!

From the moment she arrived, Evelyn was a dream baby to photograph. She slept soundly through almost the entire session, waking up just once for a quick feeding before drifting right back to sleep. Her peaceful little snoozes allowed me to capture a variety of classic and creative newborn poses, from soft wrapped setups to gentle basket shots surrounded by delicate lavender florals.
