Sweet baby Vera came to visit me in my Lexington, KY studio for her 6-month milestone session, and she was an absolute joy from start to finish! At six months old, babies are often full of personality, smiles, and endless curiosity — and Vera was no exception. Her session featured a beautiful mix of light purple and burgundy tones, which perfectly complemented her bright eyes and sweet expressions.
This age is one of my absolute favorites to photograph. Six-month milestone sessions capture that perfect stage where babies are starting to sit independently, laugh easily, and engage with the camera in the most genuine ways. Vera’s gummy smiles and little giggles filled the studio with happiness the entire time!
We started the session with some soft, light purple setups, highlighting her soft features and chubby cheeks. Then we transitioned into the burgundy backdrop for a richer, more timeless look — and the results were simply stunning. Each setup brought out a different side of her growing personality, from sweet and soft to bold and full of life.
