Meet sweet baby Violet! She came to my Lexington KY photography studio at just 16 days old for her custom newborn session, and she was an absolute dream to photograph. Violet slept peacefully through her entire session, allowing us to capture all the poses her mom had hoped for—and then some! As a newborn photographer specializing in styled and custom sets, sessions like Violet’s are why I love what I do.
We started the session with a bold orange floral setup featuring delicate orange butterflies. The colors popped beautifully against Violet’s soft skin, making this one of my favorite looks of the day. Next, we moved to a peach butterfly theme where she was snuggled in the cutest little basket. This whimsical setup was light, airy, and full of charm—perfect for a spring or summer newborn shoot.
From there, we styled a baby carriage scene filled with fresh lavender tones and paired it with rich dark wood. The rustic elegance of this setup gave a timeless feel that parents always love. To wrap things up, we did a cozy blue butterfly set, placing Violet in a vintage white iron bed, surrounded by soft blue butterflies. The entire session was dreamy, creative, and full of variety.
